Abstract
Rapid and reliable coagulation monitoring is of importance to anesthesiologists, as they are often responsible for the diagnosis of coagulopathy and the administration of blood products in the perioperative period. This review summarizes new information that has been published recently and is of relevance to anesthesiologists managing hemorrhaging patients.
