Abstract
Two new antifungal cyclopentabenzopyran-4-ones, coniochaetones A (
1) and B (
2), have been isolated from liquid cultures of the coprophilous fungus
Coniochaeta saccardoi (JS 223). The structures of these metabolites were elucidated based on analysis of 2D-NMR and HRMS data.
