Abstract
Seven different hearing aids worn by experienced hearing-impaired hearing aid users (N = 13) were evaluated with regard to quality of consonant recognition & overall subjective rating of effectiveness. Consonant stimuli in an /iCi/ context were heard in quiet or varying noise conditions. It was found that none of the hearing aids tested provide effective noise suppression for the majority of patients. 3 Figures, 15 References. B. Annesser Murray
