Abstract
Tonsillectomy is a common surgical procedure performed in children. Post-tonsillectomy hemorrhage (PTH) may occur in 3% of surgeries. We report a case of PTH due to a pseudoaneurysm of the tonsillar branch of the ascending palatine artery. The pseudoaneurysm was identified by angiography and was treated by superselective embolization.
