Abstract

This study evaluated the prevalence of prostate‐specific antigen (PSA) screening among Hispanic/Latino men in a community‐based study. PSA screening prevalence was consistently lowest among Black Hispanics. Cuban men aged 55–69 years and men with poor primary health care access also had a low PSA screening prevalence. Being employed, increased family cohesion, and higher social support predicted a higher prevalence of screening.
