Abstract
Two new isomeric δ-lactones 2 and 3 have been isolated from the marine fungus Helicascus kanaloanus (ATCC 18591). The structures and relative configurations of these compounds were assigned primarily by nmr studies, and absolute configurations are proposed based on cd data. © 1989, American Chemical Society.
