Abstract
Mycosis fungoides, the most common type of cutaneous T-cell lymphoma, is renowned for its protean manifestations. Its many guises both clinically and histopathologically can mimic a number of inflammatory dermatoses that can challenge the pathologist. Reviewed are the inflammatory conditions most commonly encountered in the differential diagnosis of mycosis fungoides, and a practical approach to distinguishing these entities from mycosis fungoides) is offered.
