Abstract
This paper describes an analysis system that integrates our previously developed automated data fusion methodology for the geometrically correct reconstruction of coronary arteries from intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) and X-ray angiography with postprocessing and data management modules. The system further incorporates methods for the analysis of computational hemodynamics and calculates morphological indices for the description of coronary plaque. Data management is based on well-defined standards, and the overall design is meant to facilitate employment of developed methods in clinical trials.
