Abstract
According to the libertarian idea of self-ownership, which asserts that each person owns himself, women are self-owners and have property rights in the products of their labor, including their infants. Jeske suggests an appropriate conception of self-ownership can be used to provide support for women's rights to abortion and a mother's presumptive right to care for her child, rights that many feminists want and ought to endorse.
