Abstract

A model to describe a light‐emitting diode as a dynamic pressure transducer is presented. This model is used to describe the measured current and voltage dependence of the sensitivity of the transducers. A method to determine an upper bound on the temperature dependence of the sensitivity and the rise time of the transducers is presented and is experimentally verified.
