Abstract

Moya discusses El Salvador's tragic identity. Throughout his adult life, he has been a victim the fear of being detained by the immigration authorities of any country he travels to. This fear isn't the result of an alcohol-induced paranoia, but of other factors, among them the Salvadoran passport he carries with him, which has raised suspicion in the eyes of the many immigration officers he had to pass by.
