On the Riemann problem for a combustion model

Abstract
This paper studies the Riemann problem for a combustion model and proves that the solution exists globally and the solution converges uniformly, away from the shock, to a travelling wave solution as t→+∞
. The results are obtained by using the method of characteristics, a maximum principle and that the equation is a nonlinear conservation law.
