On the computation of minimal-energy splines: convergence analysis

Abstract
We studied fixed-length minimal-energy splines in previous papers. In this paper, we prove the convergence of an algorithm to compute clamped minimal- energy spline segments. The method of proof works also for similar algorithms to compute other kinds of minimal-energy splines and spline segments.
