Abstract
A calculation for {ital p{bar p}}{r arrow}{ital W}{sup +}{ital X}{r arrow}{ital e}{sup +}{nu}{ital X} in the next-to-leading-logarithm approximation is presented, utilizing a combination of analytic and Monte Carlo integration techniques. The flexibility of the Monte Carlo technique allows us to present predictions for a variety of observables, while incorporating the effects of experimental cuts. In particular, we present {ital O}({alpha}{sub {ital s}}) predictions for the {ital p}{sub {ital T}}({ital e}), transverse-mass, and lepton asymmetry distributions for {ital W}{r arrow}{ital e}{sup +}{nu} events, including the effect of experimental cuts. We also show that the {ital K} factor for {ital W}-boson production is dependent upon the precise experimental cuts one uses to obtain an event sample.
