Abstract

no abstract available Introduction While coronary sinus catheter (CSC) placement by anaesthesiologists for retrograde cardioplegia in minimally invasive cardiac surgery is relatively safe in experienced hands, the optimum way to train in this technique is not known [1]. Two cardiac anaesthesiologists at our institution attended one lecture and one demonstration of CSC placement, and then trained a third anaesthesiologist. We evaluated the success rate and the time taken for CSC placement in our initial few cases.
