Abstract

A cohort study with three years of follow-up was conducted to assess whether regular physical activity was associated with a decreased risk of severe gastrointestinal hemorrhage (GIH) in older persons. It was concluded that regular physical activity was associated with a decreased risk for severe GIH in older persons.
