Abstract
Using a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 300 pb
−1 obtained at PEP with the High Resolution Spectrometer, the wrong-sign decay D
0→K
+π
− has been searched for using a sample of D
∗→D
0π events. A 4% upper limit is obtained at the 90% confidence level for the ratio of the wrong sign to the right sign decay rate in the Kπ mode.
