Abstract
It is important to discuss the optimal treatment options for the common complications after arthroscopic and open shoulder surgery based on both personal experience and evidence available in the literature. Discussion of complications after shoulder stabilization, rotator cuff repair, proximal humerus fracture fixation, coracoclavicular ligament repair, and shoulder arthroplasty can highlight both the optimal treatment pathway and technical tricks along with postoperative outcomes. The orthopaedic surgeon should be informed about the decision-making process for the management of common complications after both arthroscopic and open shoulder surgeries, tips and tricks of different surgical techniques in managing these different complications, and the best treatment options to address each complication based on both personal experience and the evidence available in literature. The goal is to determine the optimal method for managing shoulder complications after surgery. It is important to discuss the optimal treatment options for the common complications after arthroscopic and open shoulder surgery based on both personal experience and evidence available in the literature.
