Abstract
This white paper proposes the Synchronized Observations of Upflow, Redistribution, Circulation, and Energization (SOURCE) mission concept, a constellation of imaging & in situ observatories. SOURCE is a systems-level mission that targets the full life cycle of core plasma, from its ionospheric origin to its magnetospheric energization and impact. SOURCE comprises five (5) spacecraft.
