Abstract
A synchronized videostroboscopic/electroglottographic procedure was used to evaluate laryngeal physiology in 10 consecutive female patients referred to the University of Chicago Center for Speech and Swallowing Disorders. The results show that the technique provides a useful cross-validation function in the clinical analysis of videostroboscopic and electroglottographic data. When used as described, the procedure is technically simple to perform and valuable for documentation of results.
