Abstract
We describe a 65-year-old woman who presented with recurrent subarachnoid hemorrhage due to a pathologically proven thalamic ependymoma. This is the first report of such a case. Cerebral angiography and initial imaging studies did not reveal a source of bleeding. Our case emphasizes the importance of periodically following patients with subarachnoid hemorrhage of undetermined etiology.
