Abstract
This Viewpoint discusses implications of the USPSTF 2021 lung cancer screening recommendation update, which broadens the number of patients eligible for screening, for CMS' shared decision-making requirement, arguing that to make shared decision-making a reality, CMS should reimburse these visits delivered by nonphysician staff and/or telehealth.
