Abstract

First come, first served Hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis (HLH) is a life-threatening systemic inflammatory disorder. When the researchers weakened DNA DSB repair in mice and in human cell lines by using the DNA repair inhibitor NU7441, they observed more DNA DSBs in bronchial epithelial cells in vivo, enhanced HDM-induced cell death, and augmented proinflammatory cytokine (IL-4, IL-5, IL-13, and IL-33) production in vitro.
