Abstract

In this article, the methods of a prospective longitudinal study of recentonset psychoses are described. Methodological issues that may be common to studies employing a similar design are discussed in the context of the rationale behind this study's strategies. Particular attention is paid to statistical strategies that maximally exploit longitudinal data.
