Abstract
This introductory article to the Fall 2018 issue of Generations describes what it takes to be a twenty-first century caregiver, especially when the caregiver is an older adult. What tools are needed, how do these caregivers get by with what resources they have, and what solutions and supports might be on the horizon to help? The article also includes a short description of the eighteen articles included in this issue of Generations.
