Abstract

This paper establishes a fractal thermodynamic framework by leveraging the principles of fractal calculus. Beginning with a concise review of fractal calculus and its essential mathematical preliminaries, we extend the classical First and Second Laws of Thermodynamics to fractal geometries. Furthermore, we define and analyze fractal thermodynamic potentials within this generalized context. Using representative examples and comparative visualizations, we highlight the distinct deviations of fractal behavior from classical thermodynamics. Our findings demonstrate that this fractal formulation offers a robust and effective approach for modeling complex thermodynamic processes in irregular, non-smooth systems.
