Abstract
Objective: Thrombocytosis (>450,000 platelets/μL) is well documented at the time of diagnosis of ovarian cancer, but the course of platelet levels over the course of disease, in particular the interval preceding recurrence of disease, is not known. Therefore, we considered whether platelet levels might serve as a biomarker for ovarian cancer recurrence.
