Web-based technology enhances telephonic nutrition counseling skills of registered dietitians in Canada

Abstract
The American Dietetic Association and Dietitians of Canada partnered together for a series of 6 webinars designed to enhance nutrition counseling skills of Canadian dietitians working in the Dial-A-Dietitian call center. In addition to building counseling skills, the webinars addressed the unique challenges of teledietetics and reviewed the International Dietetics and Nutrition Terminology to document the Nutrition Care Process in clinical practice.
