Abstract

Important parts of the poster presentation were 1 to have students working together to come up with a representative product of their understanding; and 2 to assess students' abilities to translate from one representation to another in the context of functions.\n Considering all the posters the students produced, we concluded that assigning students tasks that required them to use different modes of representations gave us more indication of their understanding of functions.
