Abstract
Lipidomics of complex lipids and acylcarnitine were performed at Metabolomics and lipidomics Core within University of Utha per their protocol. INS-1 cells on 6 well plate was washed 2X with PBS, trypinized, centrifuged, and snap frozen in liquid nitrogen. Lipids were processed using a modified Matyash lipid extraction workflow and protein content was measured separately by BCA assay to normalize lipid abundance to sample input. This document describes detail protocol utilized for lipidomics.
