Abstract
The Music Therapy Support Group Evaluation Questionnaire (MTSG-EQ; Dvorak, 2015) is an evaluation of music therapy support groups. This scale was developed within the context of a study that examined the effect of music therapy support groups (MTSG) on physical, psychological, and social functioning of cancer patients and caregivers. The MTSG-EQ consists of follow-up questions related to music therapy support group sessions: overall experience and benefit, most enjoyable or therapeutic aspects, least enjoyable or therapeutic aspects, continuation of learned techniques, description of highlights or significant moments, and suggestions and recommendations for the group. Responses for the 11 items (e.g., "Please rate your overall experience with the music therapy support group") are open-ended, forced-choice, and multiple-choice. Psychometric information was not available at the time of test development.
