This report analyzes the trends of foreclosure in Iowa from 2006 to 2012. It first provides an overview of the national trends in foreclosure crisis, then describes its manifestation in the state of Iowa with analysis of foreclosure hot sports by zip code and county in 2010, 2011 and 2012, and finally it describes the foreclosure mitigation efforts in Iowa. The report concludes that foreclosure crisis in Iowa was much less severe than in the nation during the described foreclosure crisis.
