Abstract

Dr. Cohen created and led the Inside Choir at Iowa Medical Classification Center for 11 years. The current warden cancelled the Choir in 2020 during Covid and has refused to let it back into the prison. This interview provides excellent information about the need and benefit of community, healing and humanization for all human beings through creative programs and endeavors.
