Biography and Expertise

In both the classroom and in her scholarly work, Kristy focus on the lived experiences of American Christians and their communities.

Kristy's major published work focuses on American Catholicism, Mexican American lived religion, ethnographic methods in the study of North American religions, migration, the Midwest, youth and religion, and women and American religion.

Research Interests: American Catholicisms, Latina/x/o religions, migration, work, and gender.
