I am a cancer researcher and faculty of Medicine with extensive experience in breast cancer biology, epigenetics and anticancer drug discovery. The overall research goals in my laboratory are to understand the mechanisms underlying breast cancer progression and explore novel regimens to improve outcomes of breast cancer therapy. Our work has been funded by NIH/NCI, DOD and scientific foundations. I have been actively mentoring and training postdoc & clinical fellows, graduate & medical students.
