Findings from the Iowa Eating Disorders Needs Assessment

Abstract
There is a perception that Iowans have limited and uncoordinated resources to serve those with eating disorders. Yet, no one has spent time and resources to survey the entire state about real-life experiences. The goal of this needs assessment was to provide qualitative data as evidence to document currently available approaches to diagnosis and treatment, identify unmet needs, inform future planning, and offer recommendations.
