Abstract

Four OH-PCBs (4'-OH-PCB3, 4-OH-PCB11, 4'-OH-PCB25, and 4-OH-PCB52) and their corresponding sulfate metabolites were quantified and analyzed in a study investigating the deconjugation of PCB sulfates in a microbiome incubation system. Selected PCB sulfates were anaerobically incubated with microbiomes from germ-free mice, conventional mice, or healthy human donors. The dataset includes PCB metabolite levels in both mass and molar units, the molar percentage of OH-PCBs and PCB sulfates in the supernatant and pellet, the partitioning ratio of PCB metabolites between the supernatant and pellet, and the recoveries of ongoing precision and recovery (OPR) samples and surrogate standards.
