Abstract
The experimental dataset describes the micro- and macroscale biomechanical responses of mouse skin during uniaxial loading (Woessner et. al, 2021).
Image-based multiscale models of the skin were created and used to simulate the loading conditions of the skin sample, the code and functions used are also available within the dataset (Witt et. al., In Review). The goal of this work was to determine the multiscale interactions of skin during mechanical loading. The data resulting from these experiments and models can be reused by other researchers and can inform future studies.
